Welcome to Cork Student News, your online resource for notifications, memos, infoz, and blurs on the topic of education. This page was founded by Adam Folwer and Jeff Barindjian, two students at UCLA and friends since the 2nd grade. As we are approaching our senior years and getting closer to graduation, it has come to mind how important it is that we start looking forward, and begin to figure out what the next step is after we leave the education system. So in a way, this website is a journal of our path to figuring it all out and at the same time a resource for others that will follow behind us.
Here you’ll find information on how to get the most out of your current education in such a way that it will be applicable in the future when you enter the workforce. All too often we take majors that aren’t exactly the most useful in a capitalisitc economy. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way. Jeff is a English major, which is something of a topic of humor among many as being one of the least job friendly majors. In this site you’ll see how Jeff has lined up 3 pending job offers before even graduating college.
Thanks for stopping by.
